The Kristiansand School Kenya
Kristiansand School was founded in 2022 by visionary educators committed to providing affordable, high-quality education and nurturing future leaders. Located in Kisumu City, the school follows Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) and is approved by the Ministry of Education.
Named after Kristiansand, a city in Southern Norway known for its festivals and arts, the school was established to bridge gaps in quality education, emphasizing academic excellence, critical thinking, and moral integrity. Inspired by global educational ideals, it prepares ethical and innovative leaders for Kenya and beyond.
Kristiansand School overcame early challenges like limited funding and staffing through strong community support and a dedicated team. By combining academic excellence with extracurricular activities and community service, it established a unique, student-centered approach that set the foundation for growth.
